WUCIE would like to invite you to join the third workshop of the Entrepreneurship 101 Workshops Series in 2022/23. This workshop will be presented by Mr Frederick Yung, the former Head of Incubation Programme of the HK Science and Technology Parks Corporation.

Mr Yung is an experienced trainer in universities and incubators on entrepreneurship, market identification and investment pitching. He will share his professional insights on presenting projects both in academic and commercial realm.

A lot of presentations, be they pitching ideas to investors, presenting projects to professors, or briefing proposals to senior executives, sometimes failed to attract the needed attention and endorsement. Such failures are not because the contents are not attractive, but rather due to their inability to provide answers to the “3 WHYs” questions in the audience’s minds: “WHY this (product/results/proposal), WHY you (this team), and WHY now (this timing)?”, and present it Clearly, Concisely, and Convincingly (the 3Cs). These “3 WHYs” and “3Cs” are the “make or break” contents in the presentation. This seminar includes how to present in 1-minute (Elevator Pitch) verbally, from 3-15 minutes by PowerPoint and on a 1-page teaser, as well as skills and tips in presentations.

Details of Workshop 3 are as follows:
